[Updating] 32 Chinese Died in a Major Traffic Accident in DPRK
It's been revealed that 32 Chinese tourists have been killed in what's being described as a "major traffic accident" in DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea). It's said that only 2 of the Chinese tourists involved in the accident have survived.
China's Foreign Ministry has sent a working group to take the medical experts to DPRK at the noon time today, to help DPRK with treatment and other related work.
China's Foreign Ministry and the embassy in Pyongyang have activated an emergency response system, helping expedite procedures to get the families of the victims to North Korea as soon as possible.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed its deep condolences and sympathy to the victims' families.
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
